The Garden

By Todd Pitner

I must admit, in the beginning, I felt the writing was too adjective-heavy. It didn't draw me in as I had expected. I ended up putting the book down for a couple of weeks. Recently, I heard Matt Slick talking about his book with a listener of his Podcast at www.carm.org -- specifically, they were talking about this great "tear-jerk ending." Blaming it on my ADHD, I bypassed the chapters I hadn't read and went right to page 200-ish to check out the ending.

Whoa.

All I can say is, Whoa.

Stunningly gripping.

I won't spoil the ending...but it is well worth the read. I, too, became a little sissy-girl and wept at the introduction of a new character on page 253 (this edition, anyway). This golden reveal is sure to bring freedom to millions of women (and men) who end up reading this book (I predict 'millions' will be the correct number).

I now cannot wait to go back and actually read the rest of the book. My bad for ever putting it down in the first place.

Matt Slick...you have a tiger by the tail with this book. I just ordered 5 more copies and plan to give them to my daughters for Christmas gifts. The Publisher that ultimately takes on your book is going to be very glad they did.

God Bless...MORE!
